Kumar Mangalam Birla Biography:
Kumar Mangalam Birla was born on 14 June 1967 in Kolkata. Kumar Mangalam Birla is an Indian industrialist and the chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, one of the largest conglomerate corporations in India. Birla is also the chancellor of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science and the chairman of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He married Neerja Birla and has three children, Ananyashree, Advaitesha and Aryaman.

Kumar Mangalam Birla completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree from H.R.college of Commerce and Economics, CA from ICAI in India, MBA degree from London Business School. Following the death of his father Aditya Vikram Birla; Birla took over as chairman of the Aditya Birla Group in 1995, at the age of 28.
