Solution- Disconnect from the Online banking & connect again
This error can be resolved by reconnecting to the bank servers as mentioned in the steps-
Step 1- Disconnect your bank account from QBO
You need to disconnect your bank account from online banking. This will altogether remove your account details from QBO, and you can start fresh by reconnecting your account afterward. Follow the steps to disconnect your account-
- Open QBO on your Web Browser and click on Bookkeeping.
- Click on Transactions in the list and select Bank Accounts.
- Click on the tile for the bank account you want to disconnect from QBO.
- Tap the Edit icon for the bank account you want to make changes in and select Edit Account Info.
- Mark the checkbox for Disconnect this account on save.
- Click on Save and close.
Your bank account will be disconnected from online banking. Now, proceed to the next step for connecting it again.
Step 2- Reconnect your Bank Account
Proceed with the steps below to reconnect your bank account in QBO-
- Open QBO and click on Bookkeeping.
- Click on Transactions and select Bank Accounts.
- Select Link Account and enter the name of your bank account in the search field.
- Click on your bank in the auto-fill drop-down list and select Continue.
- Enter your account credentials(Username & Password).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the security check.
- From the Account Type option, choose the account type that matches the list of your accounts.
- Select the time interval you want your transactions for and click on Connect.
Your bank account will be successfully reconnected to QBO, and the error will be resolved.
